Kathy Goodall

Owner / Stylist / Colorist

Kathy's passion for this industry has truly shown when she opened Shear Love's doors in 2013. She is classically trained from Vidal Sassoon school in London, and has worked for celebrity hair stylist, Jose Eber. Her innovative nature inspired her to open Shear Love to promote a salon culture that differs from any salon company that she has experienced. With education at her forefront, she has grown every stylist to reach their fullest potential. Kathy takes lead part in our Education Department, teaching classes weekly to our Salon Associates, growing them into future professionals. When Kathy is not behind the chair, you can find her enjoying her family and also traveling.

Sarah Perl

Stylist / Colorist

Sarah has been in the industry for almost 10 years and has been with Shear Love Salon since its opening in 2013. Her commitment to education ranges from completing the L’Oréal Professionnel expert program to numerous classes with Kérastase and L’Oréal national educators. As the lead in-house educator for the Shear Love training program, her passion for teaching pairs harmoniously with her extensive skill set behind the chair. Sarah specializes in beautiful lived-in colors and both precision and free-form cutting. She can’t wait to see all your smiling faces in her chair!

Molly Smith

Stylist / Colorist

Molly graduated from the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology in 2014. After finding her way to Shear Love in 2017, Molly has spent that time honing her skills to ensure clients leave her chair feeling completely happy, satisfied, and beautiful. Molly has a profound passion for coloring as well as cutting, and always strives to be as versatile as an artist as she can be. With every client, whether you have been sitting in her chair for years or it’s your first time, Molly’s number one goal is to listen to your wants and needs and to deliver a service that makes you want to come back in her chair.

Deanna Cashin

Stylist / Colorist

Deanna is Shear Love’s newest stylist! She started pursuing cosmetology while still in high school at Duchess Boces. She then attended Capri Cosmetology school in Newburgh New York. Deanna specializes in beautiful, lived in color. Whether it is soft layers or a blended balayage you want, Deanna is your girl. She also is an extremely talented make-up artist. When she is not at the salon, she is enjoying Disney movies, baking and playing with her cat! Make sure to check out her work on instagram and book an appointment with Deanna

Chelsea Acosta

Makeup Artist

Chelsea graduated from Capri Cosmetology school in 2013 and has since worked in hair salons, Shear Love being her first salon ever. She loves all things beauty including the business side of the industry. In 2021, Chelsea decided to go back to school and finish her associate’s degree which she earned from Dutchess Community College.

Kaitlyn Pettit

Stylist / Colorist

Kaitlyn graduated from Capri Cosmetology School in Newburgh, New York, in 2022. Since obtaining her license, she has dedicated hours towards continuing her education from weekly in-salon classes to professionally lead classes by Kerastase and L’Oréal Professional. Since childhood, Kaitlyn always knew she was going to work in the hair industry. From cutting her own hair when she was 5 years old to coloring her friend's hair in her teen years, she always had a passion for this industry. When Kaitlyn isn’t at the salon she likes to spend time with her friends, family, and pets. As a motivated and trend-forward stylist, Kaitlyn is so excited to welcome you in her chair!

Analuz Rivera

Stylist / Colorist

Analuz graduated from Empire Beauty school in Peekskill, NY in 2023. After graduating, she had a great opportunity to work at Shear Love Salon. Analuz is a curly girl at heart and loves working with it. She enjoys being creative and it shows in her work. When she’s not in the salon learning and creating new looks, she enjoys taking dance classes. Analuz is excited to meet new people and can wait to welcome you in her chair!

Dominique Rodriguez

Stylist / Colorist

Dominique has over 5 years of coloring and styling experience. She now specializes in lived in color, haircutting and styling. She has studied hair and learned so many unique techniques from Connecticut, NYC and Denver Colorado! She enjoys building strong connections and empowering her clients to feel their best. She is born and raised in Westchester County and is excited to make her entrance in Dutchess County. When Dominique isn't working her magic in the salon you can find her on a random adventure or having a picnic somewhere with a good view and good vibes.

Carly Bonfiglio

Stylist / Colorist

Carly has had a love for hair as long as she can remember! She attended BOCES for cosmetology in high-school and completed her program at Westchester School of Beauty and Culture. Carly has a passion for lived-in, dimensional color, and vivids! Carly has been behind the chair since 2017 and has both her cosmetology and master barber license. When she's not at work, you can find Carly hanging out with ther 3 dogs, playing The Sims, cooking or spending time with friends and family!

Sophie Muniz

Stylist / Makeup Artist

Sophie graduated from Hair on the Hudson Academy in March of 2023. She has always had a fascination for everything beauty related. Ever since she was little and got her first Claire’s makeup kit, she knew becoming a cosmetologist was her calling! Her passion for makeup and hair drives her to create versatile looks that takes your natural beauty to the next level. When Sophie is not working she likes going on bike rides and spending time with her friends and family. She can’t wait to meet you in her chair and create styles that you love!
